A SECOND OPPORTUNITY

The La Salle community in Scampia is dedicated to empowering vulnerable young people through education.

Through their long-standing work in the area and their educational center, CasArcobaleno, they provide a second chance to children and adolescents—including Roma youth—who have dropped out of school in this challenging Naples neighborhood.
The center offers a tailored curriculum enriched with workshops in cooking, art, and photography, alongside psychological support and regular personal mentoring. These programs help restore dignity and self-esteem, allowing students to dream about their future and begin shaping their life plans.
CasArcobaleno also supports primary and middle school students through its afternoon program, offering homework assistance and academic guidance. A central focus of the community is actively involving families and local schools to strengthen relationships, foster engagement, and prevent school dropouts.
